Physical Forms

Shape and form must tell a compelling story at the point of sale. Our aesthetic sensibility tells the story of a brand and it's most desirable attributes. We strive to make your competition seem outdated and irrelevant. To transform a category with a unique profile that breaks through commodity-like clutter. All our work, from bottles to tools, benefits from an enticing form that looks great on the shelf and feels good in the hand. Shape is one of the first product attributes to register with consumers at the point of sale. What's your product saying to them right now?
Functional Benefits

While form may drive trial, it's the in-use experience that builds loyalty. Products that delight consumers with unexpected benefits and proper ergonomics are used more frequently and purchased more often. Our work in enhancing functionality eliminates "friction points" that sour the experience. And addresses unrecognized needs for more convenient and satisfying use. We've put the snap in snack food and the bounce in basketball hoops to demonstrate how the right functional benefits can re-energize a business.
Conceptual Work

This is what every client waits for. They wonder, "Will it be on strategy?" "Will it be breakthrough?" "Will we be able to make it?" Our answer to these legitimate questions is an emphatic "yes!". That's because our creative work aligns with the Design Strategy we've worked on together. It's informed by known capabilities and constraints. It's driven by Innovation Platforms, which are in turn inspired by fresh consumer insight. And after our conceptual work is revealed, the question we hear most is "Why didn't we think of that?"
Consumer Insight

Consumers can't reliably tell you what they want. But they can inspire with their actions and inform with their reactions. We've transformed the standard focus group to gather richer, higher-quality consumer feedback quickly. One method is called Consumer Lab, and it's our way of getting response from consumers when the creative work is in its early stages. In just a few days, we can expose dozens of consumers to a wide array of 2D and 3D Stimuli across several perceptual and functional dimensions. It's an amazing way to get early direction from consumers without allowing them to lead us astray.
